February 16-17, 2018

Parents get time for themselves Valentine’s weekend while campers learn about trees, maple syrup production, winter birds, animal tracks and more!  Games, crafts, a campfire, participatory music and more will make this overnight at Touch of Nature truly a sweet time! A great first overnight camp experience.

SIU Zoology graduate students will visit the campers on Saturday.  Campers will get to see how the students capture and collar deer to study the animals’ health, as well as view the telemetry equipment and the drop-nets used.
