Workshop Hosts:

Bill Nash - Bill Nash has been a guitarist for almost 50 years, with many years of teaching experience under his belt.  This workshop demonstrates his use of altered tunings, and multiple capos to allow the use of fewer fingers to still make some pretty impressive sounding music.  Bill is in his 35th year of living with multiple sclerosis, and the techniques he teaches here has been a major reason he can still play after all these years.  His use of multiple capos and altered tunings opens up many creative doors in performance, not to mention spurs many musical ideas he turns into song.  The focus of the workshop is to begin to open up your musical thought processes to the experimentation Bill has had to develop through necessity.

Bill will provide handouts with specific hints to help those who want to learn, to get as much out of this workshop as possible.  He will also be available for private mentor sessions for those wanting more instruction.
