Summer Employment Opportunities
Touch of Nature offers exciting and fun opportunities to work as camp counselors for our summer Edventure Camps and Camp Little Giant. These position includes staff housing on site, meals when programs are offered, and a monthly stipend. Additionally, all trainings will be free of charge including Leave No Trace, Challenge Course, Rock Climbing, Facilitation, and Environmental Education. Additionally, we are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help our culinary team provide quality meals to the campers of Camp Little Giant and EDventure Camps.
Kitchen Assistant: To assist the Food Service Manager and Cook in preparing and serving nutritious meals and in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dishwashing area. For a full position description, click here.
Camp Little Giant: Camp Little Giant is an overnight camp where camp counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. The Counselor is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. EDventure Camps: EDventure Camp counselors supervise campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being throughout the day. Camp counselors maintain a schedule for camp participants. Counselors facilitate and create lesson plans for daily activities. They organize and lead various small and large group activities.
