Our Facilities

  • Freeberg Hall

    Freeberg Hall is Touch of Nature’s main dining facility and largest indoor gathering space, serving as the central location for all group meals. Located adjacent to Burke Lounge, the Friends Gazebo, and an outdoor patio, Freeberg Hall comfortably seats up to 200 guests and includes heating, Wi-Fi, and nearby restrooms.

    This space is typically shared among groups during meal service and is not available for exclusive use unless specifically arranged. Groups that book meal service with us are not charged a rental fee for Freeberg Hall during mealtimes. However, if you are interested in using Freeberg Hall as a meeting or gathering space outside of scheduled meals, a rental fee will apply.

    For those seeking a private dining experience, we recommend reserving Burke Lounge.

  • Burke Lounge

    Burke Lounge is a versatile meeting and activity room with vaulted ceilings, tiled floors, and a large stone fireplace. Attached to Freeberg Hall, it offers heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and nearby parking.

    This space is ideal for private dining, small gatherings, or breakout sessions. A mobile A/V cart can be provided upon request for presentations or meetings.

  • Friends Room

    The Friends Room, located in Little Grassy Lodge, features a cathedral ceiling, wrap-around windows, and stunning views of wildlife, surrounding woods, and Little Grassy Lake. Various seating arrangements are available to suit a range of events.

    The space includes heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and ample parking. It also comes equipped with a large screen, projector, speaker system, and microphone. Access to the attached kitchenette may be provided upon request.

  • River Radio Retreat

    The River Radio Retreat is Touch of Nature’s dedicated classroom space, conveniently located near Little Grassy Lodge. This sandstone building features a large fireplace and offers a cozy, functional setting for meetings, seminars, and trainings.

    The room's standard set up is classroom-style for 20 students and includes a projector, screen, and small portable speaker for presentations. Heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and nearby parking are provided. Restrooms are located in the adjacent Little Grassy Lodgee.

  • Schafermeyer Hall

    Schafermeyer Hall is a dining and activity space featuring vaulted ceilings, tile floors, and a fireplace. The standard setup includes 16 lunch tables, making it ideal for group meals or indoor activities.

    The space includes heating and ample parking. Restrooms are located in a nearby building within walking distance of the hall.

  • Outdoor Facilities

    Touch of Nature has two amphitheaters and several pavilions located throughout the grounds. Our amphitheater overlooking Little Grassy Lake is the perfect location for receptions and outdoor performances.
